Developing new ideas while carrying forward proven values into a sustainable future is the central guiding principle behind the creation of the CENTRAL BUSINESS TOWER. This vision is brought to life through a range of innovative and environmentally friendly solutions.

Fresh-air corridor

The inner ring road as a fresh-air corridor

Sun protection

Double-skin facade with integrated external sun protection to minimize heat from outside (independent of wind)

Biodiversity

Greened roof and hatchery boxes

Extensive greenery on the roof as well as hatchery boxes for birds and insects to bolster local biodiversity

Reduction in carbon emissions

Carbon-neutral operations planned

Mainova has agreed to supply “Premium Green District Heating”: the CENTRAL BUSINESS TOWER will therefore presumably boast climate-neutral operations as early as 2028

Photovoltaics

Large-scale PV plant to exploit solar energy to support general power supply and cut additional operating costs

CO2 -reduced concrete

Use of innovative concrete in the foundation piles and the floor slab lowers the CO2 content by about 57%

Rainwater management

Rainwater will be captured in cisterns and used to water Taunusanlage

Elevator destination control system for fast movement within the high-rise. Carbon-fibre lift cables considerably reduce the mass moved and optimize energy consumption.
